New Year is probably the most favorite holiday. And I really want everything to be unusual that night. An important part of celebrating the coming year is the New Year's treat. Do you want to cook something that your guests and, most importantly, the symbol of the year will like? When celebrating the Year of the Fire Rooster, it is best to exclude poultry from the holiday menu and use fish, more vegetables and fruits. Preparing fish is as easy as poultry, and the meal is easy and delicious. Here are a few not very expensive (in terms of finances and preparation time) recipes for the New Year's table.

Fish in foil with mint and lemon is prepared quite simply
In winter, a salad made from fresh vegetables and fruits looks very good on the holiday table (and is quickly eaten).
Looks great on a festive table in winter
- (for example, 100 g) cabbage,
- bell pepper,
- apples,
- celery root (parsley),
- turnips (rutabaga) and 2 times more fresh cucumbers (200 g).
Cut all the vegetables and apples into thin strips and, except cucumbers and apples, put them in a saucepan and pour boiling water over them. After 10-15 minutes, drain the water, place the vegetables in the prepared bowl, mix with cucumbers and apples. Add cranberry jam, top with whipped cream and lemon juice.
Drinks should also be bright. You can make mulled wine.
To do this, you will need red dessert wine and 3 times less volume of cherry liqueur. They need to be mixed and heated until the first bubbles appear. But don't boil it. Add spices (cinnamon, cloves) to taste. Place the lemon, cut into thin slices with zest.
Lemonade is suitable as a non-alcoholic drink.
To prepare 4 servings you will need
- 1 lemon,
- half an orange
- a handful of frozen blackcurrants,
- half a glass of sugar,
- liter of water and food ice.
Fruits need to be cut into slices, put in a pan and add berries and sugar. Crush fruits and berries with a wooden masher and add cold water. It will take at least an hour for the drink to brew. Before serving, ice is placed in glasses and poured with lemonade. By the way, the main element of the drink is lemon, the rest can be changed to taste.
The holiday menu is always prepared with special interest and desire. And New Year's Eve even more so. It’s very good if the treat is not only tasty, healthy, original, but also economical.
