Like rolling cheese in butter – this is how we talk about a good life, a pleasant existence. In the old days, the cheese was stored in a wooden tub with butter so that it would not dry out. At the same time, cheese helped keep the butter from going rancid, so "rolling cheese in butter" was mutually beneficial. Let's roll in oil too! If not literally, like cheese, then figuratively so for sure!

To do this, blanch the chopped leek for one minute.
People often blame the abundance of calories, forgetting that it, like no other, is rich in fatty acids necessary for adults and children, and that calories are necessary for our normal life. They are to the human body what gasoline is to a car. Butter is a useful product, which has been consumed by people for many hundreds of years. You just need to remember that everything is good in moderation. And calories, and even vitamins. An overabundance of vitamins, if there are handfuls of them from a bottle, is worse than a shortage. Although, eating natural foods rich in vitamins, butter, in particular, it is impossible to bring yourself to such a state. It is useful to put it in a hot dish; (mashed potatoes, spaghetti, vegetable stews, porridges, pancakes).
Frying in oil is more than dubious, but habit is second nature. It is unlikely that humanity will completely abandon fried dishes in the near future. Delicious, and that's it.
What does refined vegetable oil mean?
Refining is purification. Unrefined vegetable oil of traditional types (sunflower, for example) is extremely useful: it reduces the content of cholesterol in the blood and liver. However, in the process of refining, the trace elements necessary for a person are removed from the oil, including iodine, the lack of which leads to thyroid diseases. The oil loses its taste and aroma, becomes transparent, but, alas, "lifeless".
There is an opinion that refined sunflower oil is better used for frying, and the healthier unrefined oil is used as a dressing for salads and in sauces.
On the other hand, for example, rapeseed oil in unrefined form contains poisonous substances. We cannot use it in its unrefined form. The taste of rapeseed oil is for everyone, unlike the noble olive oil, which our ancestors called "wooden". Nevertheless, the French, for example, season the Cretan vegetable salad with rapeseed oil and eat it to prevent atherosclerosis.
