Today, instant pies, without the use of yeast dough, are very popular. Although it is the most popular and pies from it turn out fluffy and tasty. But this requires free time, and there is not always a lot of it, and not every housewife respects fussing with yeast dough.

Bomb pies will not take much time to cook - this is a fairly simple recipe. Its advantage is that there is no need to wait for the dough to rise, and this takes hours. The end result will exceed expectations - the combination of crispy dough with vegetable filling gives the pies an unforgettable delicate taste. The recipe for pies just needs to be left on note. They can be baked or fried in a sufficient amount of vegetable oil for breakfast, on the road and for the arrival of unexpected guests. And the filling can be any.

It's time to get started:

First, prepare the dough. For it, we need to have 3 cups of flour, a glass of hot water, 4 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and 1 tsp. salt and sugar. In a deep bowl, mix hot water, salt, sugar, add vegetable oil and gently stir in the flour so that no lumps form. Knead the dough thoroughly and put in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Now it's time to fill the pies:

Cut 5 ripe tomatoes into slices. In a separate container, knead 200 g of cheese with a fork. Cheese can be replaced with cottage cheese, but then it needs to be salted. Add 2 cloves of squeezed garlic and chopped herbs to the cheese. It can be any greens to your liking. Mix everything and put aside.

Let's start working with the dough. Divide it into 2 parts. Roll out one in a neat thin layer. Lay out tomato slices on it at a distance of at least 3 cm, and spread the prepared filling on top. Roll out the second layer of dough and cover the first one with the filling with it. For further work, we will need a glass that is larger in diameter than tomato circles. With its help, cut out bomb pies. We bake or fry pies in vegetable oil, as you like. Put the finished pastry on a paper towel to remove traces of oil.
