Classic Recipe: Cinnamon Rolls

The ingredients for making cinnamon rolls will be as follows:

  1. three packs of dry yeast,
  2. sugar, a third of a glass,
  3. 250 grams of butter,
  4. half a liter of milk and half a teaspoon of salt.

To prepare the filling, we will need the following ingredients: two to three tablespoons of butter, four tablespoons of sugar and two to three teaspoons of cinnamon.

First, you need to melt the butter, then cool a little. Carefully pour in the milk and heat the resulting mixture. Next, take the yeast and mix it together with one teaspoon of sugar, then add the mixed yeast to the mixture of butter and milk and again you need to mix it all again. Soak the resulting composition for five minutes, then add flour and sugar at the same time, and, finally, knead the dough. The resulting dough should be kept in a sufficiently insulated place for half an hour. After our dough rises, it must be kneaded well one more time.

Then divide the dough into two equal halves and roll it out to a thickness of half a centimeter. In this case, you need to treat the layers of dough with oil. At the next stage of cooking, the components of the filling must be well mixed with each other and then sprinkled with it on the dough. Next, roll the resulting pancakes each separately. The resulting rolls are in the form of centimeter-thick pieces.

Put the pieces on a pre-greased baking sheet and leave in this way for about half an hour, and only then bake in the oven preheated to a temperature of 200 g C. Before baking, you can grease the pieces with egg and sugar crumbs. Now you can start baking for five to ten minutes until a golden characteristic crust forms.
