Cake in a pan - sounds unusual, because we are used to baking cakes in the oven. This dessert offers a simple cooking option - in a pan. An interesting fact is that in Russia such a concept as "cake" did not exist for quite a long time. Instead, festive loaves decorated with curls, braids, and figurines flaunted on the tables. But, be that as it may, today the cake is the main character of the festive table and not only. It differs from a pie in that it has several cakes soaked in all kinds of creams and jams. This is a dessert that can cheer you up, create comfort on a winter evening with a cup of tea, however, this culinary magic can turn everyday life into a holiday.

Let's return to our "fast" cake and get acquainted with the method of its preparation. First, you need to prepare the products that are part of the dough and cream.
For the dough, you will need a can of condensed milk, 1 egg, 1 tsp. slaked vinegar, 500 g of flour, taking into account 2 tbsp. l., which will be included in the cream.
For the cream, you should buy half a liter of milk and 1 cup of sugar, 2 eggs, 200 g of butter and a bag of vanilla and, if desired, a glass of nuts to decorate the dessert.
Let's get to work.
Since the cakes in the pan bake quickly, first pay attention to the cream. In a small saucepan, mix milk with eggs, flour, sugar and vanilla and beat everything well with a blender or whisk. Put the finished mixture on low heat and cook, stirring constantly until the cream thickens. At the end of the process, add the required amount of butter to the finished cream, stir and so that the cream does not cool down, cover the pan with a lid.
Now it's the turn of the cakes. For our cake, bake 8 pieces, but if desired, you can bake more. As the saying goes: "The mouth rejoices in a big piece."
In a bowl or saucepan, mix condensed milk and egg, add soda and gradually stir in the flour in small portions, until the spoon kneads the dough. Put it on the table and knead, but do not forget that it should be elastic and soft.
Divide the finished dough into 8 parts, roll out each in the form of a cake and put it in a heated and greased frying pan. The cakes are baked quite quickly, the main thing is not to miss it and turn it over to the other side in time.
Put the finished cakes on a round plate and carefully cut off the edges. Scraps will later come in handy for decorating the dessert. Grease the space between the cakes, the sides and top of the cake with cream.
Decorate the cake with walnuts mixed with grated crumbs.
