Dr. Tatiana Dorfman is a senior physician in Carmel Medical Center's Department of Surgery B, director of Carmel Breast Research, and director of the Breast Health Institute at Lean Medical Center.

Dr. Tatyana Dorfman completed her medical studies at the Russian Medical University and specialized in general surgery at the Rambam Health Care campus.After completing his fellowship, Dr. Dorfman studied breast cancer surgery at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, Italy. After completing her fellowship, she worked as a general practitioner in general surgery and specialized in breast surgery in the department of general surgery and as a senior physician at the Human Breast Health Institute, Rambam.

Dr. Dorfman is a member of the Israeli Society of Surgeons and the Israeli Breast Association, as well as the European Association of Oncological Surgery, and participates in conferences, courses and seminars in Israel and abroad on general surgery and breast cancer surgery.

Dr. Dorfman has served as a faculty member in the field of general surgery at the Physician Immigration in Israel, Rambam Medical Center and as a faculty member for Technion medical student groups.Lecturer for students of the Faculty of Medicine of the Technion, participates in research in the research laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine, Technion, headed by Professor Sokhotnik.

Dr. Dorfman performs a variety of surgeries, partial/full mastectomy, skin and nipple sparing breast tissue removal with immediate breast reconstruction combined with plasticizers, sentinel lymph node sampling, and axillary lymph node dissection
