Diet by blood group

Diet by blood group

Scientists have proven that there is a close relationship between nutrition and human genetic characteristics. The first to pay attention to the regularity of the diet for a certain blood type was the American nutritionist Peter D'Adamo. On the basis of scientific research, he created a popular author's diet for blood type. The nutritionist experimentally proved that if you make a diet based only on blood type, then you can stabilize body weight, get rid of obesity and regulate metabolic processes in the body.

Thus, D'Adamo has compiled a special menu for weight loss, based on the products that our ancestors consumed. He conditionally classified all products into healthy, neutral and harmful products. Therefore blood type diet guarantees gradual weight loss, not instant results. Modern science is suspicious of D'Adamo's hypothesis, arguing that it is not directly related to the state of health and overweight of a person.

Features of the diet by blood group

1 blood type

People with this group are true meat-eaters, characterized by a slow metabolic reaction. The diet menu should be aimed at speeding up the metabolism in the body.

  • Fish, meat, greens and salads, seafood are recognized as mandatory products for "hunters".
  • Various cereals are neutral products for group 1;
  • It is not recommended to eat wheat (that is, flour products), cabbage, corn, ketchup, marinades, sweets.

It is recommended to consume legumes, buckwheat, flour products, fruits and vegetables in limited quantities. All "hunters" need to perform special physical activity in order to control their weight, in addition to dieting.

2 blood type

It is important for all "farmers" to consume dishes with a high percentage of carbohydrates or completely switch to vegetarianism.

  • Very useful products for "farmers" are cereals, all types of vegetables, legumes and fruits. But, at the same time, bananas and citrus fruits need to be dosed.
  • Neutral food: dairy and lactic acid products.
  • It is strictly forbidden to consume fish, meat, vegetable oils produced on the basis of corn and peanuts, as well as seafood for representatives with the second blood group.

"Farmers" are characterized by gastrointestinal ailments, so protein food is digested very poorly and the metabolic process is inhibited. Together with the diet, experts recommend doing yoga, pilates and other physical activity.

3 blood type

For "nomads", it is optimal to make a so-called mixed diet.

  • It is recommended to include fruits, veal, cereals, vegetables, eggs and legumes in the diet of people with group 3.
  • But, it is necessary to limit the consumption of pork, chicken meat, tomatoes, peanuts, seafood, buckwheat and wheat dishes, especially white bread and pastries. These products inhibit the process of insulin production and slow down metabolism.
  • For physical activity, you can choose tennis, cycling, walking and yoga.

4 blood type

In the world, only 5% of people are carriers of the fourth blood group. It combines the properties of "nomads" and "farmers".

  • Poultry meat, dairy products, various types of fish, nuts, many vegetables, fruits, soy products and olive oil should be added to the daily diet.
  • Seafood and legumes are recognized as neutral food.
  • It is forbidden to include red meat, corn, sour fruits, bell peppers, buckwheat and peas in the daily diet.
