Delicious zucchini dinner
Summer is a wonderful time for vegetables and fruits, it is at this time that all housewives intensively preserve and supplement the main dishes with all kinds of vitamins. "Zucchini barrels" with meat filling
Undoubtedly, young zucchini stuffed with the most tender minced meat have a delicious taste and will look great on the evening table.
So, to create a culinary masterpiece of Russian cuisine, you will need the following ingredients:
- three zucchini;
- half a kilo of minced pork;
- a couple of onions;
- one hundred gr. Rice;
- one large carrot;
- four hundred gr. Tomatoes;
- a little greenery;
- one hundred gr. Sour cream;
- two hundred gr. Cheese.
Keep in mind that the whole cooking process will take you two hours and the output will be eight servings.
Preparing products
First of all, rinse the vegetables thoroughly, peel them, and prepare them for the baking process.
Take the zucchini, cut them into three or two parts and cut out the core so that they can be stuffed, while remembering that it is necessary to achieve a certain shape, that is, they should not be too small and not too large so that you get the appearance of a barrel.
Making the filling
Now the most difficult and crucial moment begins, stuff the zucchini by hand or with a small spoon so as not to damage the vegetable.
While you are busy with vegetables, put the rice to cook, it is advisable to choose an elongated cereal. Cook it until half cooked, and after boiling, mix with finely chopped herbs and lightly fried minced pork. If desired, you can fasten the consistency with an egg or simply do not rinse the rice to maintain its stickiness.
The sauce is ready
Sauté finely chopped onions and grated carrots until golden brown, and then reduce the heat and add one hundred grams of sour cream, spices, salt to taste and twisted tomatoes, which will give the sauce juice and color.
Bake in the oven
Preheat the oven to one hundred and sixty degrees, put the stuffed zucchini in a baking dish, decorate the barrels with grated cheese, pour over the sauce and send to bake for thirty minutes. That's actually the whole recipe, bon appetit!
